Idemitsu’s Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) team is based in Basel, Japan, and the US. We make strategic investments in innovative new technologies to contribute to the realization of a carbon-neutral and circular society.
We view changes in the business environment as opportunities for transformation. By collaborating with startups, we harness innovative technologies and ideas to create new value, ensuring a stable supply of environmentally friendly energy and materials. Initially Idemitsu look to invest in companies within the target areas. Investment are typically between 1 and 5 mUSD in mid to later stage investment rounds (series A and beyond).
